What is Interior Electrical Line Coverage?

Interior Electrical Line Coverage provides coverage to repair or replace the failing interior electrical line within your home, from and including the breaker panel or fuse box, up to and including switches and outlets.

Why should I enroll in Interior Electrical Line Coverage?

Homeowners are largely unaware that an interior electrical system breakdown in their home is likely their responsibility to fix. That’s why FPL Home offers Interior Electrical Line Coverage from HomeServe. Coverage provides up to $2,500 annually with multiple service calls per year for covered repairs of your interior electrical line. This coverage is $4.99 per month conveniently added to your Florida Power & Light Company electric utility bill statement. Your coverage is based on an annual contract and will be automatically renewed annually at the then-current renewal price.

Can I cancel my Interior Electrical Line Coverage?

Yes, you may cancel your coverage at any time. If you cancel within 30 days of your start date, you will receive a full refund (less claims paid, if applicable). If you cancel after the first 30 days, you will be entitled to a refund of 90 percent of the unearned pro-rata price as listed in your declarations page, less any claims paid (where applicable). You may also contact HomeServe to cancel if you find your utility or municipality provides similar coverage to you at no charge, and you will receive a refund less any claims paid (where applicable).
