SurgeShield and Electronics Surge Protection Program Bundle
FOR HOMEOWNERS
The program bundle offers the maximum protection of your home appliances and coverage for your sensitive electronics. Under the SurgeShield program, along with a state-of-the-art surge protector directly at your electric meter to help protect your home appliances from power surges through your electric meter, the program also comes with a $5,000 limited manufacturer’s warranty per covered appliance, per occurrence for damages caused by a failure of the surge protector to properly perform. Under the included Electronics Surge Protection program, customers benefit from up to $6,000 per year in reimbursement for repair or replacement of covered electronics damaged by a power surge.
Covered appliances under the limited manufacturer's warranty (located within the residence or within four (4) feet of the residence) include:

- Built-in microwaves
- Ceiling fans
- Clothes washers and dryers
- Dishwashers
- Freezers
- Garage door openers
- Garbage disposals
- Hot water heaters
- Motorized portions of well or electric pool equipment*: well pump, pool heater, pool pump, and spa pump

- Wine coolers
The Electronics Surge Protection* program provides up to $6,000 per year in reimbursement for repair or replacement of covered electronics damaged by a power surge.
